Biography
Ali Ouni is an Associate Professor in the Department of Software Engineering and IT at École de technologie supérieure (ETS), University of Quebec, where he leads the Software Technology and Intelligence Research Lab (STIL), since 2017. He received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Montreal in 2014. Before joining ETS Montreal, he was an assistant professor at Osaka University, and UAE University. His research interests include software maintenance and evolution, software quality, refactoring, and the application of AI to solve software engineering problems. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery and the IEEE Computer Society.
